Known problem: During disassembly of extremely seized glow plugs, the drive hex often breaks off.

The solution: With this tool, the center contact is removed in a few steps, a screw-on or impact centering is applied, and the mounting thread of the glow plug is drilled out at the core diameter. The thread in the cylinder head is not damaged. A pulling thread is then cut into the remaining body of the heating element and pulled out of the glow plug bore with the help of a spindle. In a final operation, the mounting thread and the bore in the cylinder head are cleaned. If necessary, the sealing seat of the glow plug can be reworked using our special reamer.
