* Robust, self-centering honing tool for gentle grinding process * Due to the flexible construction of the brush, the abrasive balls adapt to the surface. The brush can thus be used for edge breaking and finishing of surfaces (also in non-round bores). * Ideal tool for producing an evenly fine ground surface with high bearing area, the so-called plateau finish, creating a cross-hatch pattern that is an excellent carrier for potential oil film adhesion, resulting in a surface free of cold-worked and deformed material * Easy handling on both hand drill presses and in honing machines and automated equipment * How to work with the grinding and honing brush? * Always wear safety glasses and gloves * Select brush diameter according to bore diameter if not available, select a larger diameter (e.g.: For bore Ø 11.5 = use brush for bore Ø 12)

* Use oil with viscosity 10 to 30 or honing oil, for hydraulic brake cylinders use brake fluid instead * Recommended speed: 350 – 700 rpm * Rotation: 60 to 120 strokes/min * Accelerated rotation produces a cross-hatch of 45° to 60° * Clean bore with hot water or cleaning agent using nylon tube brushes * Lightly oil bore after cleaning * Honing time: approximately 20 to 40 seconds
