Spiral drills made from cobalt-alloyed high-performance high-speed steel according to DIN 338, precision-ground. Short cylindrical shank, type W, core thickness larger than standard, with cross-ground point according to DIN 1412C. Manufactured for exceptional demands in craft and industry. For drilling in corrosion-resistant steels (e.g. V2A, V4A, Nirosta), difficult-to-machine materials such as heat and acid-resistant steels, special alloys, welded seams, Cr-Ni steels as well as cast materials from 900N/mm².
