* Robust, self-centering honing tool for gentle grinding process * Due to the flexible construction of the brush, the abrasive balls adapt to the surface. The brush is therefore suitable for edge breaking and finishing of surfaces (also in out-of-round bores). * Ideal tool for creating a uniformly fine-ground surface with high bearing area, the so-called plateau finish, resulting in a cross-hatch pattern that is an excellent carrier for potential oil film adhesion. The result is a surface free of cold-worked and deformed material. * Easy handling on both hand-held drill machines and in honing machines and automation systems * How to work with the honing and grinding brush? * Always wear safety glasses and gloves * Select brush diameter according to bore diameter if not available, select a larger diameter (e.g.: For bore Ø 11.5 = use brush for bore Ø 12)

* Use oil with viscosity 10 to 30 or honing oil, for hydraulic brake cylinders use brake fluid instead * Recommended speed: 350 - 700 rpm * Rotation: 60 to 120 strokes/min * Accelerated rotation produces a cross-hatch pattern of 45° to 60° * Cleaning the bore with hot water or cleaning agent using nylon pipe brushes * Lightly oil the bore after cleaning * Honing time: approximately 20 to 40 seconds
