Description
When replacing glow plugs, the glow plug bore should be cleaned with a specialized tool, as otherwise accumulated carbon deposits can cause heat buildup on the new glow plug and lead to overheating. Another important step is to achieve optimal sealing again. This is achieved by re-reaming the sealing cone with the appropriate reamer. Tip: If the fastening thread needs to be renewed using a thread insert, the sealing seat should always be re-reamed and adjusted with the reamer.
