HSS Hand Tap DIN 352 M2.6 - Standard Thread

This HSS hand tap according to DIN 352 is specially designed for cutting M2.6 standard threads. The second design (No. 2) enables gradual and precise cutting of the internal thread.

Manufactured from high-performance high-speed steel (HSS), this tap offers high wear resistance and long service life. It is ideal for machining unalloyed and alloyed steels up to a tensile strength of 800 N/mm² as well as for non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, copper and brass.

The precisely manufactured cutting edges ensure clean and dimensionally accurate threads. The tap is suitable for use in workshops as well as for DIY applications. For optimal results, we recommend using a cutting oil or grease.
