First the hex head is drilled led by the drill sleeve. Afterwards the hex head is removed with the special drill without drill sleeve and the remains of the bolt is drilled to the size of the punch.
The punch pushes now in the centre of the bolt within the suspension arm. This way the bolt end is not compressed (expanded), which otherwise often prevents pushing it out of the aluminium body.
