Use:
The heat and flame protection blanket is a special protective cover designed for the automotive industry. This welding blanket provides thermal protection from sparks and spatter. It is 100% glass-fibre-free and therefore absolutely skin- and paint-friendly (no glass fibre dust).
It can be used up to a maximum application temperature of 1400 °C (wet for a short-period maximum 3400°C). Very high heat and sound insulation with relatively low weight per unit area (600 g/m2).
Durable temperature resistance approx. 900°C (DIN 52273)
Working Temperature dry to max. 1400°C, wet to max. 3400°C (DIN 52273)
Fire behaviour hardly inflammable ( DIN EN 13501-1)
Material specification mechanically especially needled fibre composite
Weave / bonding mechanically needled
Size 1600 x 2000 mm
