Modern vehicles are dimensioned wider from the body construction. The conventional 1.5m wide engine bridges no longer fit most engines.
Transporter engines cannot be absorbed by a 2-point engine bridge due to the front end construction.
Some vehicle manufacturers have changed the design of the front end so that support via the fender is no longer possible (e.g. OPEL, pedestrian safety concept).
- Time saving due to very short set-up times
- A 1.8m engine support covers everything from car to van
- The assembly and dismantling is carried out by one person, which saves costs.
