Also spark plugs which are mounted in a narrow shaft are reached thanks to the small outer diameter of the sockets and surely removed with the magnet or the retaining spring.

Retaining springs: Two solid stainless steel springs grab the hexagon of the spark plug and hold it on the stop of the brass bushing. Now the spark plug sits perfectly aligned to the axis of the socket. This way is it possible to screw in the spark plug without damaging the thread in the engine block and without stress to the insulator of the spark plug.

The long versions are particularlywell suited for deep-seated spark plugs e.g. in French engines.
