Known problem: During removal of extremely seized glow plugs, the drive hex frequently breaks off.

The solution: With this tool, the center contact is removed in a few steps, a screw-on or press-fit centering is applied, and the fastening thread of the glow plug is drilled out at the core diameter. The thread in the cylinder head is not damaged. In the remaining body of the glow element, a pull thread is then cut and extracted from the glow plug bore with the aid of a spindle. In a final operation, the fastening thread and the bore in the cylinder head are cleaned. If necessary, the sealing seat of the glow plug can be reworked with our special reamer.
