Thread Repair Kit M14x1.5 for Shock Absorbers & Control Arms

Tool kit for renewing damaged M14x1.5 threads of the shock absorber fastening on the lower control arm at the rear axle for: BMW primarily X-models (X3, X4, X5, X6).

With the help of this tool kit, it is possible to centrally drill out the remaining thread from the control arm, apply an oversized thread in the correct position over the required length, and then insert a sufficiently long threaded insert to the correct depth. This allows subsequent assembly with the original screw. This tool kit can be used on aluminum and steel control arms.
