Known problem: During removal of extremely seized glow plugs, the drive hexagon frequently breaks off.

The solution: This tool removes the center contact in a few steps and bores out the glow plug fastening thread to the core diameter. The thread in the cylinder head is not damaged. A pull thread is then cut into the remaining glow element body and pulled out of the glow plug bore using a spindle. In a final operation, the fastening thread and the bore in the cylinder head are cleaned. If required, the sealing seat of the glow plug can be reworked with our special reamers (optionally available).
