Glow Plug Extraction Tool M10x1 VAG without thread repair and reamer

The VAG glow plug extraction tool enables the removal of defective glow plugs with broken hexagon head. The glow plugs of VAG engines are located in a tight shaft in the cylinder head. For the various work steps required to bore out and extract the defective glow plug, long-reach working tools are therefore necessary. In the event of damaged fastening threads, no standard M10x1 thread insert can be used for this reason, as the insert collar does not fit into the cylinder head glow plug shaft.

Work steps:

• removal of center electrode
• boring out the fastening thread at core diameter
• installation of the extraction spindle thread
• withdrawal of the glow plug
• cleaning of glow plug shaft and glow channel
