Paint Thickness Gauge for Coating Measurement

Electronic measuring device for determining paint thickness on aluminum and steel body panels. Paint thickness provides information about the quality of the paint job and helps identify repaired paint and body damage. The result can be used to assess whether accident damage was properly repaired or if extensive filler work was performed. It is also used for evaluating warranty and goodwill claims, e.g., Mercedes-Benz rust-through warranty assessment, when purchasing used vehicles, and for creating damage appraisals.
