* Application:

* Especially due to the W-segment, the drill crown is excellent for all types of rock. Examples:

* all standard building materials

* calcium silicate brick

* Quadrostone

* Quadro-E-Stone

* bricks and clinker etc.

* Advantages:

* Due to the innovative W-geometry, significantly reduced contact surfaces are in use. This means less drive and pressure forces are needed during cutting.

* Furthermore, the heating of the segments is significantly reduced. The volume clearances of the W-segments serve excellently as air cushions and dissipate friction heat much better. This allows for significantly higher cutting speeds.
