Description
The HSS hand tap according to DIN 352 is a high-quality tool for producing internal threads. Made from high-performance high-speed steel (HSS), it guarantees high wear resistance and long service life.
Design No. 2 (intermediate flute) enables easy and clean thread cutting. This tap is specifically designed for machining steel and non-ferrous metals (NF metals).
The precisely manufactured cutting edges ensure accurate threads with high fitting accuracy. The size M1.6 corresponds to a metric thread with a diameter of 1.6 mm.
The hand tap is used in manual thread production, for example in model making, precision mechanics, or repair work. Manual operation allows for controlled and sensitive machining.
